Why you should never ever give up!

never give up

Winston Churchill once said: “Never, never, never give up!”

He repeated the “word” never to focus on the importance of persisting until you succeed.

Many people think that unlimited success is only available to a limited number of people. They think that successful individuals have been successful all their lives and did not put many effort into achieving such a status.

However, truly successful people are the ones who have always persisted in their actions until they achieved their most desired dreams.

They have failed their way to the top! (by continuously trying, failing, and eventually succeeding).

It is important to know that the philosophy of “never give up” is as follows:

Whenever you want to achieve something, take the first step and act. It may take some time and some failures until you will succeed.

Be determined and unstoppable!

It is in your best interest to fail because your failures add up to your overall experience and next time when you pursue your goal, it is a lot easier to get to it.

It is also important how you perceive the word “failure“. Most people view failure as a negative event and most of them get discouraged and stop following their dreams once failure shows up.

Brian Tracy challenges you to view failure in a positive light by saying that: “Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently”. Few people are able to challenge their minds and eliminate the pattern where failure is related only to negative outcomes. This is probably why only few succeed.

Why is failure associated with negative outcomes?

Because most people around you don’t encourage you whenever you go achieving your goals.

Let’s face the facts! Who, besides you, is more eager to fulfill your dreams?

When people see that you start working on reaching your most desired dreams, they become envious and some of them try to stand in your way. I am not being negativist.

You just think of a situation when you wanted to do something and shared it with your closest ones. Probably many of them said that it’s not the best time to do it or that the economy is not so good, or that you will be held back by this and by that…

And if you didn’t listen to them and did whatever you thought was best and you failed, most of them will tell you they were right and you should have listened to them.

This is where and why failure is perceived as a negative outgoing.

99% of the people stop here and listen to their friends and family and never try again.

So, please keep in mind to:

Never, but never stop following your dreams no matter whom and what comes in your way.

Remember what Will Smith said in the”Pursuit of Happiness” to his son:

“Don’t ever let somebody tell you that you can’t do something. Not even me! Alright? You got a dream? You gotta protect it! When people can’t do something themselves they wanna tell you you can’t do it. If you want something, go get it! Period.”

I once attended a seminar on body language which was hosted by one of the world’s leading authorities on this subject, Allan Pease. He is also known for surviving cancer for 3 times in his life. Besides being very good at body language, he is also a success coach.

When asking Allan what the most important success principle is, his answer was to clearly define your goals.

Doing so, you will always have a picture of where you want to be. It doesn’t matter if you change your approaches and if you alter your plans along the way. If you are persistent and if you never give up, you will live your dreams.
